Here at Thatcher’s, we are sincere about embracing organic, artisan concepts: quality ingredients, small-batch goods that are crafted with care and reflect passion and expertise, and the continuation of tradition. And we know that restaurants, pubs, and bistros that choose to use our products feel that way too, which is why we are happy to share their unique stories.
Farmhouse Evanston —located in Evanston, Illinois — bills itself as a Midwestern craft tavern, and lives up to its name. This is the second Farmhouse location, with it’s Michelin star sister site in downtown Chicago.
Sourcing as much as possible from local purveyors and making almost everything from scratch, Farmhouse Evanston offers a menu replete with comfort food that transcends traditional meat-and-potatoes fare. From their Farmer’s Cellar Board, which features local cheese and charcuterie, to their classic roasted chicken, you can expect farm-to-table quality meals in a rustic, relaxed atmosphere. It’s food infused with love and quality, not pretention.
Farmhouse takes the locavore concept further than just their food. Their beers, their wines, and of course, their liquors, are all from the Midwest region, and their feature cocktails rotate to highlight the best and most appropriate pairing for their seasonally-inspired food menu. Consider trying a martini or any other vodka based cocktails made with our small-batch vodka while you enjoy the comfortable location and friendly service at Farmhouse Evanston.
So if you happen to be in the area and are looking for a good meal and a cocktail, place Farmhouse Evanston atop your “must visit” list!
Feature Flavor is part of our ongoing look at locations that carry and serve Thatcher’s Organic Artisan Spirits.
