White Russian Cupcakes with Vodka Buttercream
When you thought a White Russian couldn’t get more decadent…
For the cupcake:
1 ¾ cups sugar
1 cup unsalted butter
3 cups flour
½ cup buttermilk
¼ cup Thatcher’s Small Batch Organic Vodka
½ cup coffee liqueur
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla powder
½ tsp salt
4 large eggs, room temperature
For the frosting:
4 oz butter
4 cups powdered sugar

½ tsp vanilla

Boozy Blood Orange Cream Cheese Pound Cake

For the cake:
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, at room temperature
4 oz (1/2 block) cream cheese, at room temperature
2 tbsp fresh blood orange zest
2 cups sugar
5 eggs, at room temperature
½ tsp vanilla
¾ cup half and half
¼ cup fresh blood orange juice
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
For the syrup:
½ cup sugar
¼ cup water
¼ cup (4 tablespoons) butter
¼ cup blood orange liqueur
¼ cup whiskey
For the glaze:
1¼ cups powdered sugar
2 tbsp fresh blood orange juice
1 tbsp half and half
1 tbsp butter, melted and cooled
½ tsp vanilla

A perfect afternoon treat.
285 grams almonds, pulverized
100 grams all-purpose flour
15 grams corn flour
½ tsp sea salt with peppermint
1 tsp baking soda
Zest of one lemon
1 tbsp lemon juice

250 grams granulated sugar
185 grams unsalted butter
10 drops raspberry extract
