The sixth and final season of Peaky Blinders hits Netflix on June 10, which means in the meantime we’ll be revisiting the first five explosive seasons in earnest whilst preparing for a serious binge watching session. What better way to enjoy all the 1920s drama than with Peaky Blinders cocktails in hand? We curated drinks for our favorite characters to sip on. Enjoy, by order of the Peaky Blinders.
The Real Boss (Polly Gray)
A true force, Polly Gray works behind the scenes managing the Peaky Blinders. Although life has hardened her, she is fiercely loyal to her family and has a surprisingly tender streak. We dedicate this powerfully red (with a hint of sweetness) cocktail to the formidable matron.
- 1 oz Thatcher’s Organic Small Batch Vodka
- 1 oz Thatcher’s Organic Cucumber Liqueur
- .5 oz lime juice
- .25 oz agave syrup
- 5 mint leaves
- 2 strawberries, chopped
- 1 mint sprig, garnish
- 2 oz sparkling wine
In a shaker tin, muddle chopped strawberries, mint leaves, lime juice, and agave. Add Thatcher’s Organic Small Batch Vodka and Thatcher’s Organic Cucumber Liqueur and ice to the muddled mixture and shake. Dump mixture with ice into a Collins glass, top with sparkling wine and garnish with mint sprig.
Blood & Smoke (Tommy Shelby)
As the indisputable main character, Tommy Shelby is clever, violent, and oh so complicated. We think this aptly named cocktail does justice to the brooding and iconic gangster.
- 2 oz Coppercraft Rye Whiskey
- .5 oz Thatcher’s Organic Blood Orange Liqueur
- .5 oz blood orange juice
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- Scotch rinse
Combine Coppercraft Rye Whiskey, Thatcher’s Organic Blood Orange Liqueur, blood orange juice, simple syrup, and bitters in a mixing glass. Add ice and stir until well-chilled. Strain into an Old Fashioned glass that has been generously rinsed with the Scotch. Add one large ice cube. Garnish with a slice of blood orange.

Grace’s Secret (Grace Burgess)
Beautiful, soft spoken, and mysterious. Grace Burgess charmed her way into the hearts of many. But, she had a secret.
- 2 oz Joseph Magnus Vigilant District Dry Gin
- 1 oz red dash of Italian vermouth (such as Martini or Cinzano)
- .3 oz Thatcher’s Organic Elderflower Liqueur
- 2 dashes of peach bitters
- A lemon twist, garnish
Pour the Joseph Magnus Vigilant District Dry Gin, vermouth, Thatcher’s Organic Elderflower Liqueur, and bitters into a mixing glass filled with ice. Mix using a long, slim spoon. Strain into a cocktail glass without ice. Squeeze the lemon twist into the glass before using it for garnish.

Firecracker (Arthur Shelby)
Feared, yet respected, Arthur Shelby is Tommy’s right hand man and an absolute firecracker of a human. Therefore, for him we choose a boozy and slightly spicy cocktail.
- 1.5 oz Coppercraft Rum
- 1 oz Thatcher’s Organic Blood Orange Liqueur
- 4 seedless watermelon chunks
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 oz simple syrup
- A pinch of red pepper flakes
In a mixing glass, muddle the watermelon, then add the remaining ingredients and fill with crushed ice. Pour, unstrained, into a Margarita glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Cucumber Gin and Elderflower Martini (May Carleton)
When asked what she’ll have to drink, May orders a gin, and then has to specify “Goodness. With something!” This gin martini certainly has something, and we think the elegant racehorse owner would enjoy it at the races at Epsom.
- 3 oz Joseph Magnus Vigilant District Dry Gin
- 3/4 oz Thatcher’s Organic Elderflower Liqueur
- 4 fresh cucumber slices, muddled
- 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- 1–2 basil leaves, optional
Muddle the cucumber in a cocktail shaker until completely pulverized. Add the remaining ingredients along with a cup of ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a cucumber slice and enjoy.
