April is Earth Month and for us, it embodies the cleansing and refreshing essence of spring. This inspiration led us to curate a list of clean cocktails for the season, ensuring they are both fresh and guilt-free. These light springtime beverages uphold Thatcher’s mantra of crafting drinks with all-natural, sustainable ingredients that benefit both you and the planet. Here’s to one mother nature of a cocktail.
Sparkling Honey Cucumber
Honey is so good for you! Pair it with cucumber in this sparkling clean cocktail.
- 1.5 oz Thatcher’s Organic Small Batch Vodka
- 1 oz Thatcher’s Organic Cucumber Liqueur
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp lime juice
- 3 oz Lime Seltzer (lacroix)
- Lime wheel or cucumber slice, garnish
Add vodka, liqueur, lime juice, and honey to a shaker and shake vigorously to mix in honey. Add ice and shake well a second time. Pour into a Collins or Martini glass over one large cube of fresh ice. Top off with Lime Seltzer and stir to mix. Garnish with a lime wheel or cucumber slice.
Frosted Watermelon
A fruity frosty cocktail that is delightfully crisp on a warm spring day.
- 2 oz Thatcher’s Organic Watermelon Liqueur
- 1 oz Thatcher’s Organic Small Batch Vodka
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 cups chopped watermelon
- 1 cup ice
- 2 oz lime juice
- Lime wheel, garnish
In a blender, puree watermelon and slowly add in ice, vodka, watermelon liqueur, lime juice, and sugar until well blended. Pour the mixture into two glasses and garnish with lime wheels.
Thatcher’s Lumière
Our Thatcher’s cocktail created specifically for Earth Day! A gin and elderflower clean cocktail.
- 1.5 oz Joseph Magnus Vigilant District Dry Gin
- 1 oz Thatcher’s Organic Elderflower Liqueur
- .75 oz Green Chartreuse
- .75 oz lime juice
- 3 dashes of orange bitters
Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled Coupe glass.
Fresh Mango Mint Mojito
Garnish from your garden with this minty mango cocktail.
- 2 oz Coppercraft ‘Holland to Holland’ Rum
- 2 oz Thatcher’s Organic Mango Liqueur
- 5 mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
- 3 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 cup fresh chopped mango
- Ice
- Club soda
In a glass muddle together sugar, mint, lime juice, and mango in a cocktail shaker. Pour in Coppercraft rum and Thatcher’s Organic Mango Liqueur and muddle to combine. Mixture should not be smooth. Pour your rum mixture into two glasses filled with crushed ice. Top with club soda and mint leaves. Serves two.
Floral Lemonade
A floral infused lemonade, perfect for outdoor sips!
- 1 oz Thatcher’s Organic Hibiscus Liqueur
- 1.5 oz Thatcher’s Organic Elderflower Liqueur
- 6 oz lemonade
- Soda water
Combine ingredients in shaker with ice and shake. Pour into two Collins glasses and top with soda water. Garnish cocktail with lemon wheel. Serves two.
In the Leaves
Lemongrass makes this clean cocktail especially refreshing.
- 1.5 oz Thatcher’s Organic Small Batch Vodka
- .5 oz Thatcher’s Organic Cucumber Liqueur
- .75 oz lemongrass syrup
- .75 oz lime juice
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- Cucumber slice, garnish
Combine ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake and strain into Coupe glass and garnish with cucumber.
