Celebrate Mother Nature with Earth Day cocktails and waste-free garnishes.
Mother Earth is waking up, and we’re celebrating with Earth Day cocktails. Some of the cocktails included in this blog celebrate the return of spring with waste-free garnishes, others with springtime flowers, and still others with all things green. But all of these cocktails feature Thatcher’s Organic Artisan Spirits, made with all-natural sustainable ingredients that are good for you and the planet.

Thatcher’s Lumière
An Earth Day spin on a classic gin and elderflower cocktail.
- 1.5 oz Joseph Magnus Vigilant District Dry Gin
- 1 oz Thatcher’s Organic Elderflower Liqueur
- .75 oz Green Chartreuse
- .75 oz lime juice
- 3 dashes of orange bitters
Combine all ingredients into shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled Coupe.
Wild Hibiscus
A sparkly spring cocktail with our new hibiscus liqueur.
- 1 wild Hibiscus flower
- .75 oz Coppercraft Gin
- .75 oz Thatcher’s Organic Hibiscus Liqueur
- .75 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
- .75 oz simple syrup
- Prosecco, to top
Place a Wild Hibiscus flower in the bottom of a martini glass. Combine Coppercraft Gin, Thatcher’s Organic Hibiscus Liqueur, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a glass. Top with Prosecco.

Elderflower Rose Gimlet
A cocktail that boasts a bouquet of flavors.
- 2 oz Joseph Magnus Vigilant District Dry Gin
- 1.5 oz Thatcher’s Organic Elderflower Liqueur
- 1.5 oz fresh lime juice
- .5 oz simple syrup
- .5 tsp rose water
- Rose petals, for garnish
Combine Joseph Magnus Vigilant District Dry Gin, Thatcher’s Organic Elderflower Liqueur, lime juice, simple syrup, and rose water in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and pour into a rocks glass filled with ice or a cocktail glass, neat. Garnish with a rose petal.

Green Mango Mai Tai
A green to celebrate being green.
- 1 oz dark rum
- 1 oz Coppercraft Rum
- 1 oz Thatcher’s Organic Mango Liqueur
- 2 oz green mango nectar
- 1 oz orgeat syrup
- 1 oz lime juice
- Orange slices
- Strawberry slices, garnish
- Green mango slices, garnish
Drop orange slices in the base of a mason jar. Add ice and more orange slices throughout. Pour in dark rum, Coppercraft Rum, mango nectar, orgeat syrup, lime juice, and Thatcher’s Organic Mango Liqueur. Close jars and shake well. Drop in strawberry slices and garnish with mango slices.

Peach Martini Bellini
A cocktail with a garnish from the garden.
- 1.5 oz Thatcher’s Organic Small Batch Vodka
- .5 oz Thatcher’s Organic Peach Liqueur
- 1 oz peach juice (or nectar)
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 2 oz Prosecco
- Fresh peach slice and/or fresh mint for garnish
Combine Thatcher’s Organic Small Batch Vodka, Thatcher’s Organic Peach Liqueur, and juices in a shaker. Add ice and shake until very well chilled. Strain into a cocktail glass and top with Prosecco. Garnish with peach slices and/or mint, if desired.

Peachy Green Cocktail
A cocktail using leftover brunch fruits – or whatever you have on hand.
- 1.5 oz Thatcher’s Organic Watermelon Liqueur
- 1.5 oz peach schnapps
- 1.5 oz orange Juice
- 6 oz 7-up soda (or Sprite)
Fill 1/3 of a shaker with ice. Add Thatcher’s Organic Watermelon Liqueur, peach schnapps, and orange juice. Shake until well chilled and pour into highball glass. Fill glass with cold 7-Up. Add an orange slice on top.
